What Students and Parents Are Saying About Summit:

"Simply put, [my tutor] took me from a definite fail to managing to both understand and pass my course in about one month... If you want a tutor who can understand that your teacher barely touched the surface and teach you beyond what your teacher even tests then [Summit's] got you covered!"

~ Ryan, student at Summit Stoney Creek

"My instructor was wonderful.  Both friendly and knowledgeable.  Had I had more time I am sure I would have come out further ahead.  They made time for me at short notice and put me into their busy time table."

"This was an excellent program (Summit Summer Camp).  The staff were very accommodating and professional.  I would do this anytime if needed again.  I will refer anyone who inquires.  Max seemed to absorb and learn very quickly with the techniques used.  It was fun, informative and challenging enough for learning to take place.  I am very pleased.  Thank you"

"Our son, started at Summit Learning in the spring of 2010.  ...  He continued at Summit during the summer, so as to not lose anything he had learned over the past year. ... After the first week of grade 1, his teacher came to me and said that Tyler had "totally impressed" her with how he had ended his Sr. Kindergarten year, and with how he had progressed over the summer ...  She stated that she has never seen a student change that much in such a short time...  The teachers at Summit are amazing - every one of them.

We also have two older children who attended Summit.  Our oldest son, went to get help with preparing to write his college entrance exam.  He also enjoyed it very much, and said he was impressed with the help they gave him.  Then our daughter,  who is in grade 12, went for help learning to write better essays and to study more effectively.  She too enjoyed it very much - Sarah stated that she learned more from her tutor, Ashley, than she ever did from the teachers at school when it came to essay writing and studying.  ...  If I was to grade Summit on the service and quality they provide their students, they would get 110%."

"Both of my boys were out of the French program in public school. They felt a little uncomfortable about being a little behind their peers in the classroom. Although they were able to learn they both wanted extra help on a one to one basis. By joining Summit, they made great progress and as a result they now feel more comfortable around their peers and better able to participate in class. Since the beginning of the school year they both have grown and matured in their learning and study skills."

- Glenda Drexler, mother of two students at Summit in Stratford

"We have noticed a significant improvement in our son's ability to work with phonics after only a month of tutoring at Summit Learning Centre. Nicolas is thoroughly enjoying his experience at Summit. Nicolas is more confident and willing to answer questions about his letters since starting tutoring."

During the first week of grade 6; however, Mark's teacher called to say how impressed she was with Mark answering questions in class and how his reading had improved! Neither the teacher nor us, his parents, were prepared for the progress Mark made! We are very pleased and recommend Summit as often as possible! Thank-you!"

"I really enjoyed the Early Starter Program at Summit for my son because he received small group learning which ave him more confidence in his reading, writing and numbers.  As a parent I loved it because it wasn't homework sheets that I had to struggle to get him to do at home, all the learning was done with his Summit teacher.  My son enjoyed the Early Starter Program so much that when he entered Grade 1 he asked if he could continue at Summit if he paid with his own money!  I would recommend the Early Starter Program to any parent of a 3-5 year old."

"We enrolled Nicholas into the Early Starter program at Summit Learning Centres Inc. when he was 3 years old.  He has no siblings and was not in a daycare setting; therefore he was not used to being with other children or having someone teach him besides his family.  He immediately bonded with Pat and Teresa, who have shown him patience and understanding and he loves attending the program.  We noticed in a short time that he was sounding out letters and saying words that started with "s" correctly by phonetically sounding them out, which was a challenge for him prior to Early Starter.  He is constantly singing songs that he has learned in the program and is very proud of the special projects and art work that he creates at each session.  He has become a little teacher at home to his family.  The Early Starter program has given Nicholas confidence in himself and has laid a great academic foundation for him.  Enrolling Nicholas in this program was the best decision that we could have made and we recommend it to all parents."

- Mark and Susan, parents of an Early Starter student at Summit, Stoney Creek

"Matthew did well on his exam, getting 81%. His final mark in Chemistry was 70; his previous mark was 56% - a major improvement! Thanks again Summit for all your help."

- Joanne Chiarelli, parent of two students at Summit Hamilton Mountain
